The Department of Mathematics at the University of Mississippi invites applications to fill one tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor beginning in August 2017. A successful applicant will be expected to teach two courses per semester, conduct a vigorous research program with a potential for external funding, as well as mentor at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
A Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, earned no later than August 15, 2017 is required. We encourage applications from outstanding candidates in areas compatible with the current research interests of the department, particularly those with an interdisciplinary, applied, or computational focus.
